32, Married no kids, Dog Lover, looking for friends

  • I am 32, married with no children (might want them in the next few years). I am a professional and work full time in DC. I have 2 collies. I have problems staying motivated and thought maybe if I had a buddy it would be easier for me. I count WW points and try to go to the gym 3 days a week. I have no "event" for which I am losing weight, which I think is good and bad - good b/c I won't be disappointed, but bad b/c it is easy to get sidetracked and not really care that much.
    I also love to cook and gardening (flowers and herbs this year b/c I don't get enough sun for veggies).

  • Welcom MThead you should come on over to the 30 something thread and look at the top thread titled "the week of" we are always there, as for a busy life DITTO i work full time in a office sitting behind this computer all day..LOL Im counting calories, and kind of doing WW i mean they are so close i kinda do both again welcome and yes you will find the encouragment here on this site to keep going

  • Welcome to 3FC! Have you been over to the WW forums? If you don't find a specific buddy here, you can probably get one there. Are your babies by chance chubby? We have a pudgy pets forum, too. I'm always looking for good advice on diet food for my Rubenesque Chihuahua.

    I live in western MD, and my hubby works in DC. I'm a 33 year-old stay-at-home mom of two young children and one chocolate lab. :-) I've lost almost 90 pounds in the last year and a half, and would like to get off about another 20 or so, but have been at a plateau for some time now. I'd love a buddy to stay motivated. Exercise is not my forte. I've walked 30 minutes a day every day (except when I was sick) since I started my weight loss journey, but pushing myself beyond that is a challenge. Hubby is supportive and he's lost quite a bit of weight, too. But, since he has such a long commute, we're often too tired to support each other with exercise... I'm going to have to motivate myself with that.
