Hi again Case,
You should check out one of the calorie count programs that are online, it has made a world of difference for me, personally.
I really never thought I could sit down and count every single darn calorie that I ate, but once you do it for a few days, and get the list of foods that you eat built up, it is really amazing. I had followed the body for life program before which does not ask you to count calories, only portions. it is a great program with proven results, for sure, but for me, I think I was cheating a little by having more portion than they suggest.
Having to mark it all down totally keeps it all in perspective much clearer.
I liked the fitday website version so much but I bought the download version yesterday, and it is even more detailed. You can keep your own custom list of food, and it tells you exactly what you need to achive (calorie wise) to meet your next goal.
it's free to sign up so just go check it out and if you don't like doing it after a couple of days.. nothing lost (money wise).
No I don't work for them.. I found out about it through this website.
website is
www.fitday.com
there are some other calorie log websites out there too, one is called calorie king.
