I've seen the informercial. I didn't think it seemed like something I would enjoy, but I would love to hear from someone who has it to see how they feel about it.
Ok - Insomnia time- I just saw the informercial for this Core Rhythms and it looked interesting.... very dancy. I thought it might be a fun one to get for my collection.

Has anyone tried it yet?
I see it during my insomnia time, too...lol. That and Slim in 6...that looks good, too.
I just wanted to let you know that I just bought it and tried it for the first time. I am trying to complete the short workout which is only 22 minutes long. I am out of shape -BAD!- so keep that in mind. I have made it to minute #7.
Very Dancy and if you have dance experience in your background you may do alittle better than us uncoordinated people. I dont feel that they describe the move quite so well and while they do have the front - back view option sometimes I still dont get exactly what they are doing.
It is fast paced and uptempo and I think once I get it down I will like it. Just another thing to try to get me motivated.
I have Core Rhytms, the first week I liked it, since it was new and I was hopin g I could get the dance moves down. But after a couple weeks I was so bored and the instructor isn't the greatest. For me it was a waste of money.
I like it a lot!!
I have a lot of workout videos, and yet the ones that I really enjoy are the Core Rhythms, Hip Hop Abs and the Crunchless Abs and on my tough days when I really want to feel the burn I use Denise Austin.
Core Rhythms has two instructors, the shorter one is sort of over-energized, she's very jerky in her movement, the taller one is MUCH better at instructing and I follow her.
It is a great workout, I have the first three original videos (from before they changed the series) I have the Intro (initial video), the Merengue and the Salsa Blast. I mostly use the Intro and the Merengue. For the most part they're all alike but each one incorporates different dance moves & music.
They are great workouts they start off with very simple moves to warm up and go into dance-style movements around the floor, the tempo picks up in the middle as do most workouts, but I keep a slower pace. Each one is approximately 35-42 minutes long, that inclued the Warm Up, Workout, & Cool Down.
I recommend them! They are fun, but to be honest I do get bored doing ANY one single workout over & over, so to keep interest I mix it up. I usually do the Core Rhythms one or two days a week and other days I do my other workouts.
