Well, yesterday was NOT good at all. Actually, I was nursing a hangover from a wedding we attended the night before... so I did bad things. Since this is the food thread, I will confess my sins.
B: two slices cold pizza and a chocolate doughnut
L: nothing but some chocolate candies
D: cheeseburger, cheetos and a side of applesaucse
D: Nachos w/the works (I had that at 9:30 at night)
I woke up this morning and said, "wow, that is actually how I used to eat ALL the time". It's no wonder I kept gaining weight instead of lossing it. Talk about UNhealthy eating. I was so far away from Sonoma, I must have been in Maine.
Today, I'm doing better already:
B: WG cereal
L: Shrimp w/broccoli and spinach
D: WG spaghetti ??? (Not sure yet)
It's amazing how proud you can feel about yourself when you eat better. Oh, and not to mention, when I stepped on the scale this morning, it was UP three pounds. I'm hoping that's just temporary, and it will go down later this week.
I see some of you had some bumps in your road too... but we are all still here, reminding us that we need to stay on track. I hope to get some exercise in too. It's been a while since I've done any.
Gaela, I'm patiently waiting (foot tapping) for that southwestern non-eggrole receipe. I love those things!
Good luck to all of us tomorrow... since I know several of us may be tempted by outdoor parties and bbq's while celebrating the fourth.
