New To 3FC

  • Hello Ladies & Gentlemen
I am new to 3FC but not new to WW. I started WW back in the '80's losing 40lbs and then again in 2003 and just recently in January of this year. I reached my highest weight at 296lbs in 2003 - went down to 250lbs then I just stopped. I recommited in January of this year at 275lbs and I now currently weigh 235lbs. I was doing well then life happened and I just stopped .... again in May of this year and luckily did not gain anything back so I'm back at it again. I love WW and I keep plugging away at it as I believe it is the healthiest "diet" available and it really does work.
I'm looking forward to meeting all of you and hope I can offer some good advice as I know I will definately be soaking up the knowledge on this board.
  • Hi Scramm, welcome!!!
I also just joined 3FC and on Monday decided to rejoin weight watchers online. I love WW, its simple to follow and healthy. So far so good!!! I joined WW 3 years ago when I was 190lbs and lost about 15 lbs and stopped, I havent gained any weight back but I havent lost anymore either. So Monday I decided to join WW again and work towards my goal of a 140lbs. Yesterday while surfing the net, I came accross this site and I am really excited, I know that with WW online and the support of this board I will make it.
  • welcome you guys! and wtg on the losses!!
  • Welcome to 3fc. Great job on the weight loss. This is a great place to help with just about anything you need. So welcome
  • Welcome! :-)
  • Hi, I'm new (poster, longtime lurker) to 3FC myself and I'm doing WW as well.
  • Welcome to all the new ladies here on this thread and also to the ones who are just lurkers.

  • Hi, I've joined WW 3 weeks ago and lost 6lbs. Need other newbies for moral support. Have yo yo'd all my life and finally came to the realization that fat people don't get old. After observing most of my friends with serious health problems I am determined to put a stop to my cycle of up and down and get healthy for life. Would love to have some companionship in this struggle.
  • Hi all and congratulations on those losses!!!!
    This is a wonderful site.
I love WW's too. I started in 4/06. This was my first time and I think it is great. I'd like to get down to 140. I've been overweight most of my life. I had a gastric bypass about 15 years ago and lost 170 lbs, but didn't change my eating habits. It started coming back on about 4 years ago, I finally had to stop the insanity. I love the WW because it does leave you open for choices and is very workable if you work it.
Welcome to all and keep coming back!!! And if you're just lurking, come on and join in the fun!!
  • Newbie
I am a 21 year old college student and I am new to 3FC, WW, and basically healthy eating (so this is a complete turnaround for me)! I recently started "dieting" about 3-4 weeks ago. I realized that my "diet" I was following had no real structure to it, so after hearing rave reviews I opted to start WW about a week and a half ago. I have been running/brisk walking often at home on my treadmill. Since I first put an effort forth to lose weight I have lost about 7 lbs. I am trying to figure out effective work out routines and exercises to help me firm up. I especially want to concentrate on my abs and inner thighs. Any WW tips and/or exercising advice will be greatly appreciated!!

  • I also am new to 3fc and started following WW for the, ahem, 3rd time. I have tried every diet imaginable, some several times and am again too heavy for my liking and hopefully will make it a lifestyle change this time!
