  • Hiya ladies~
Yesterday, well last night, was so so for me. I had a headache and eating wasn't great. Not that I ate high calorie foods, just that I kept grazing.
I'll go through the threads and find where Tammy posted the points system that we can follow and maybe add weekly homework assignments. Like the first week would be to clean the kitchen of foods that you know aren't the best and maybe tempting. Stuff like that.
I haven't worked out yet, I have my 5 mile with all the boosters planned. Me an the boys been goofing around and I need to do some cleaning and need to get out and go touch up a basement that will take all of 10 min!! I keep putting it off for some reason.
Well hubby is home for lunch so I'll check in later.
  • Good morning everyone,

I did ok eating wise yesterday but I blew off my workout. I had a hard day at work so I really wasn't motivated.

I am planning on making up for it today, though. Eats are so far on target!
  • Okay the challenge is just about ready you can print the rules on the post titled The Super Motivating 20 lb Weight Releasing Challenge.

Pretty simple. The only part that really needs explanation is the kick it up a notch part. Will explain in a bit need to chat w/ Cathy

The other post 20 lb Challenge is where we keep track of our points and total released pounds.
  • Good afternoon ladies!

Well, it's lunch time and I'm still finishing breakfast! That's the problem with eating at your desk -- you keep getting interrupted and it takes forever to finish.

I went to the grocery store last night to pick up a prescription for John and the first thing I saw when I entered was this huge display of fresh, dark red cherries on sale. Of course, I had to buy some. Guess what my afternoon snack is going to be???

I know our evening treat is supposed to be 50 calories or less, but I'm cheating a little -- Tootsie Pops! They are 60 calories and as long as you don't bite them, take forever to eat. You can't scarf down other food in front of the TV if you have your mouth full of lollipop. And I still get my chocolate fix.
  • Good idea Susan.....I love both of those things.

Had a fairly good day eating wise yesterday, ate dinner out but had grilled fish and a handfull of steak fries and a bit of coleslaw. Not totally on plan but good choices for the fish house we ate at.

Did my 1 mile WTPO dvd today, it is finally getting easier. Next week I might see how far I can get in the 2 mile part.

Off to read the challege rules.....

  • I did good with food yesterday, but didn't exercise. Michelle's computer got a virus and I spent 3.5 hrs trying to fix it, to no avail. I have someone coming over on Sat morning to work on it.

I wasn't hungry this morning and ended up skipping breakfast. But since then I seemed to have gotten back on track and I am doing very well. It is amazing how a little prep work in the morning can help me to stay OP! Michelle has dance tonight. After I drop her off I MUST get on that treadmill for 30 min!

Tomorrow is my day off. It is suppossed to rain. I think I will take the kids to the mall. Michelle has saved up for a new iPod (hers dropped and broke) and I want to get the summer reading books so we can get going on that. This is the first year Bobby has summer reading and I am not sure how well he will take to that!

Sat is dress rehersal for Michelle's dance recital which is on Sun afternoon. So that pretty much sums up my weekend, especially after you figure in laundry, cleaning and all....... Plus, they are saying it is going to rain for the whole weekend - bummer! Maybe we will get a chance to go see Cars - I'm looking forward to that movie.

I'm doing good on my water today - how about you?!
    Sharon
  • Sharon you all will love Cars. It was such a good movie!!! I'm looking forward to 7 July when Pirates comes out. A couple of hours of looking at Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom
Thank you Tammy for getting up the rules.
  • exercise part has been changed to 8mm or 15 minutes 1pt 30 min 2pts 1hr 3 pts. the kick it up a notch part is something each of can participate in. Think of it like a dare. This will be something for our inner child to enjoy so that we can have a little fun with it. we can all come up with an idea like cleaning out your fridge of "junk food" or getting rid of that outfit you hate but it fits so you keep it. or cleaning out the pantry. if you do it you get 5 pts 0 pts if you don't. all right what doo you all think?can we do this or what!!!!!!
