Moderator

I have been informed that I can't volunteer to be a moderator and that aphil will take over here as Laurie has left.

That is fine and I am sure she will keep the group up and running. Everyone is asked to keep on posting. You can contact aphil if you have questions.

Why can't you be moderator?

A moderator is not a volunteer position-as in, it isn't a position that is simply asked for.

I have been the moderator for the entire General Diet Plans section, as well as another section at 3FC, for a few years now. I have actually been the moderator here in the JC subforum since its existence, and Laurie was made sort of a "mini-mod" of this small subforum alone soon after it started up-so I didn't have to be here while she was here-and I attended to my duties over the rest of my areas. (Both of our names have been listed as mods at the bottom of the main page of the JC area.)

All of the moderators here were asked by the administrators to do so, based on many factors. Many of us cover more than one area/part of the forum.

If you need anything at all-a Sticky, something edited or deleted, or what have you-just let me know. I would be happy to help.
