Hi! New here :)

  • Well I came looking for the same thing most are here for - support. So I guess I should tell a little about myself.

    I am a single mom from southern California. I am at the moment about 20 to 25 lbs overweight It has been a bit depressing to me and effected my life in many negative ways.

    I havnt always been overweight, in fact it was the opposite. I used to be very fit. I fact I used to be an exotic dancer, so I had to stay in shape. The gym used to be as important to me as breathing

    About a year ago I went back to school, and I decided to go full time. Full time student, full time work and single mother doesnt really leave any time for working out. Needless to say the 3.5 GPA I maintain means I have not even been to the gym once in the entire school year. As for diet, well lets just say i hardly have time to eat during the day, and then when I do eat, it is usually from a drive through.
    Now that the school year is over (at least for a couple months) I need to get back on track. I plan on eating healthy and going to the gym everyday

    Well, enough about me.....anyone want to say hi and tell me a little about themselves would be really great!


  • Well, here is a little about myself. I also am a mom. 2 girls, 4 and 1. Lights of my life!!!! I also would love to lose about 20 but would be happy with just 10. I have lost between 10 - 15 since having my last baby almost 2 years ago. I am counting calories and trying to get up early as many mornings as I can to walk. I would love to go to a gym but I just can't afford it right now and really don't know if I would go. I hate working out and I really hate to sweat! Not good for someone trying to lose weight.
