Hi everyone.
Judy - That tomato sandwich sounds divine. Too bad I don't live close to you. I'd come take some of those tomatos off your hands.

I hope today at the office isn't too terribly long. Long days are hard enough by themselves, but when you don't feel good on top of it.....
Pat - Ah I remember dormitory move in day well. Sounds like you got in a real workout, so I wouldn't worry about a high point lunch too much, especially since you ate low point at dinner. Sounds like you're feeling back on track. Good for you!
Holly - Congrats on a terrific loss. Sounds like all that exercise is working. I know you can do well this weekend. Remember one or two glasses of wine sipped slowly and savored can be as enjoyable as three or four glasses. I would think the points for Cornish Hens would be the same as chicken.
Jennifa - You're right, a 16 pound loss/gain in a month doesn't sound right. Have tried consulting a bariatric doctor (I think that's the correct name for the speciality of weight and weight management). I feel for you having to work all those hours. Its hard to find time to exercise when you're working like, and hard to find the energy too. I love fall too! I buy the Vogue fall issue every year. Of course the last couple of years, I haven't actually sat down to read it, but this year I will. I bought my copy last night. And I like your thinking: Out with the dowdy, in with the chic.
No star walk last night either - went to the grocery store last night so I was running a bit behind. Got stocked up on a lot of good things though. The clouds were obscuring the stars, anyway. So we just walked to the corner and then stood outside for awhile. Busy morning this morning, but I guess the best thing about being on the phone non-stop is no time to think about snacking. And I was well-prepared for it today: blueberries and grapes (which became dessert at lunch), Trader Joe's chocolate cat cookies and a new product I found last night - pretzels with soy added by Roberts American Gourmet, the maker of Pirates Booty. 2 points an ounce. Oh well, I guess I'm well covered for snacks this afternoon and on the train. No plans for the weekend, so should be ok there. I'm going to try to stay off my feet as much as possible. My right ankle and knee are really bothering me. I thought I was going to have to take a cab for the two blocks from the train station to the office. I guess I need to have the ankle looked at. Its the one I sprained and it never has felt right. And I'm sure its affecting the knee as well. And of course, the 120+ extra pounds isn't helping either.
Have a great day and a terrific weekend.
Carla
