Need a little points help

  • Today is my first actual day doing weight watchers, and I'm a little confused. I can't figure out the points for meat... I'm fixing pork chops for supper tonight and I'm not sure how to figure out the points in a serving. Could someone give me a general run down of how to do things along this line?
  • You need to weigh it after cooking without fat and bone for truly accurate. A piece about the size of a deck of cards is a way to eyeball a serving (about 3 ounces). Many pieces of meat are more than one serving - 8 ounce steak, 6 ounce chicken breast etc.

Well in addition to what Quilt posted you need to know the type of pork chop. A center cut or sirloin will be less than others.
