  • For anyone looking at this and wondering why I'm counting points for Core foods.....I'm simply trying to make sure that my portion sizes are not out of whack when considering what I would be entitled to on Flex. So for at least a week, I'm weighing/measuring/counting Core foods. I am entitled to 30 points daily.

    Breakfast: 1/2 cup Oatmeal (2 points) cooked with 3/4 cup skim milk (1.5 points) and 30 fresh blueberries (.5 points) Total points 4

    Lunch: 6 ounces LO roast white chicken (6 points), 1/2 cup FF cottage cheese (1.5 points), 1 cup cantaloupe (1 point) Total points 8.5

    Dinner: Chipotle burrito bowl which contains 4 ounces grilled chicken (5 points), 4 ounces pinto beans (2 points), 1 ounce cheese (3 points), lettuce, tomato salsa, hot salsa, 4 ounces guacamole (4 points); 1/3 cup brown rice (4 points)cooked in chicken broth at home. Total points 18

    Grand Total Points 30.5
