I need a buddy

  • Hi everyone!

    I signed up for this website yesterday. Everyone seems so supportive and great!

    I'm Amber, I'm 22, and I've been actively trying to lose weight since January. I exercise 5 days a week, and while I don't calorie count per se, I measure my food to make sure proportions are right, and I try to stick with healthy choices, and I write everything I eat down.

    However my weightloss has been stalled since mid-February No matter what I do, nothing seems to get me out of this rut! I'm really starting to give up hope. I'd love to have a buddy to exchange words of encouragement!

    Way to go on the exercise!! Try writting down what you are eating. Maybe you might see there is something you are doing that may be stalling your weight loss.

    We would love to have you in the Support section called "Sticking with it" We have people of all ages and weight. I like to write in everyday and some don't. For me it makes me more accountable. Plus I get to know everyone. If just come in once in a while I tend to lose track of what everyone is doing.

  • Hi Amber, have you tried strength training? That can be a big boost to your overall calorie burn, and it might spark your weight loss.
