. I did purchase sugar-free metamucil and tried to drink that mixed in water and I gaged, couldn't take it. I did try some laxative tea and that got things moving a little. I must find some form of agreable fiber to keep me regular. The other issue is the negative feedback I get when I tell others that I'm on Atkins. No one I know supports this woe. They all say Atkins died of a heart attack or that eating too much saturated fat is bad for cholesterol. I really hate defending something that works so well for me. I now tell folks that I have cut out all sugar, processed foods and white flour. For some reason, they think this is great but if I say "Atkins" I get
Things that have changed for me so far:
10 lbs lost
gone down 1 size from 18 to 16
can fit a ring that I couldn't before
can button most pants that didn't before
no bulging stomach visible through clothing

I started on May 22 also. Maybe we can buddy up. I think it is great that you are doing so well. I lost 8 pounds my 1st week, and I have had a ton more energy too. I wish I measured my inches so that I could tell if I am losing them. I started at a size 18, and am wearing a 16. I have several size 14s and size 12s that I am going to try on this weekend. What exercise are you doing?
