Anybody doing Body for Life?

    I was just wondering if anybody here was doing body for life. Ive been calorie counting/cycling and have lost 2 lbs at the rate of 1 lb/wk. I love working with weights and have done so off and on for an avg of once a week. So when I read about BFL I got really motivated to start the program. I was wondering if I can continue calorie cycling with the BFL program since I've successfully lost weight since I started counting and cycling calories.

  • I calorie cycle and do BfL to my own little scheme! It should work - you don't have to count calories on BfL do you, just have a "portion"?

    Also, don't get too hung up on the scales when you start BfL, you might retain water in your muscles if you haven't trained heavy before.
  • Thanks for the information. I "formally" started the program today though I have lifted heavy before but I never bothered with the scale. I'll keep that in mind
  • BFL is great. The main thing on the diet side is while counting your calories, also try to be sure to get plenty of protien, expecially after a work out.
