The Let's Make a Plan and Stick to it Thread for Thursday

  • Let's get a headstart on Thursday. What are you going to eat? Do you have your menu and activities planned?
  • I'm trying to lose 2 lbs and get back to my maintenance weight. Calories lower than usual for the week (goal is 1400-1600).

    B - 1/2 cup eggbeaters, 1 whole wheat tortilla, spinach leaves, tons of salsa

    S - carton of fresh blueberries (LOVE SUMMER)

    L - naked vegetarian burrito at Qdoba (black beans, white rice, pico de gallo, romaine, tons of salsa)

    S - tall non fat sugar free latte

    S - 11 oz of watermelon

    S - cut up veggies (grape tomatoes, sugar snap peas, baby carrots, yellow pepper strips)

    D - 3 egg omelette (special extra omega 3 eggs), filling sauteed in a little olive oil - spinach leaves, tomatillo tomatoes, 2 oz baby shrimp, onions, garlic, artichoke hearts

    *just calculated this out in fitday and calories are too low. Will probably add a plain, non fat yogurt to my blueberry snack.
  • Glory? I've had blueberries today. They are sooo good!

    B- oatmeal, egg whites and soy protein powder
    S- shake of mixed berries, egg whites, psyllium and whey protein powder
    D- smoked pork chop, salad, cottage cheese and another vegetable

    I have to take the college boy to an employment thingee tomorrow morning so timing will be everything. I may have fruit in between or I may find something clever in a fast food joint or I could slip into GNC and grab a power bar of some sort.

    I'd like to do more than 20 minutes of cardio (I'm loving my heart rate monitor) and I should do weights for chest and triceps.
  • Well, my sleep schedule is al messed up so I am STIL up from last night. (it's almost 5AM here). I was going to workout at midnight but I got sucked into some jewelry making and now I am just too pooped.

    So... my plan is to go to bed here in a sec and get up early afternoon. That's about it. :-\


  • HI EVERYONEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I have been MIA I know, but I am soooooo busy at work (and life) these days with little or no time to play!!!!!!! I should be back around for the next couple of weeks (after we get through this one!) I hope!!!

    I have been doing well on eating and exercising! Life WILL NOT interrupt that!!! Went for blood work at endo yesterday so hope to get good news from that..we'll see once I get results back (hoping that HDL went down and that last time was a fluke!) No reason I should have high cholesterol whatsoever unless maybe its genetic!

    Breakfast: bagel with jelly; scrambled eggs
    Lunch: Sammich; baked chips
    Dinner: Soup

    Snacks: yogurt

  • I have not been doing so good.....I got to try to do better

    B-1/2 a snack bar, some wheat thins
    s- other 1/2 of the snack bar.
    L- low fat soup wheat thins
    s-snack bites
    D- Not sure. I am going to try not to snack to much after dinner.

    I felt bad yesterday and did not walk...Feeling better today. I hope to get my 40mins on the treadmill today.

    B- protien juice; two pieces whole wheat toast; low fat cream cheese; sliced deli chicken breast
    S- coffee with fat free hazlenut cream
    S- baby carrots; cucumber
    L- wrap (whole wheat tortilla, low fat cream cheese, deli chicken breast, pickled asparagus, lettuce, hot sauce, hot peppers)
    S- chips ahoy thinsations
    D- not sure, chicken I think - family is arriving today from Ontario so I am having dinner with them

    Water- 6+ liters
    Exercise- already done 1 hour on bike
