Make a Plan and Stick to it Thread for Wednesday

  • Morning all! Another day, another plan to stick to!


    B: Low sugar maple-flavored oatmeal

    L: Portabello mushroom sandwich on toasted whole wheat with blasamic vinegar and onions.

    S: 100-cal microwave popcorn

    D: 1 Samosa and big salad

    Exercise: 30 minutes on exercycle.

    b- special k
    s- fruit and nuts
    l- turkey and swiss on whole grain
    d- left over turkey breast, veggies

    i haven't been exercising at all - feeling too depressed - yet I know that if I would exercise it would help that. Not one pound lost in a week...sigh.
  • B- protein drink; two pieces whole wheat toast; low fat cream cheese; tomato; turkey bacon
    S- coffee with fat free cream and sugar
    S- banana
    L- fish; maybe a bit of salad; carrots; cucumber
    S- watermelon; yogurt
    D- not sure

    Water: trying for 6 liters again (did it yesterday!)
    Exercise: 30-45 min lunch break walk; 40 min treadmill (20-30 min jogging)

    What do you guys think - is coffee a healthy snack??
  • Ok I got off on a bad foot today!
    B-bacon,egg,cheese biscuit<<<< I know. I know.
    s-snack bar
    L-salad with grilled chicken
    s-?<<< I still need to go shopping.
    D-? Not sure???
    40min walk.
  • B - 2 pieces of whole grain toast, peanut butter

    S - horizons organic fat free plain yogurt, sliced strawberries

    L - Trader Joe's Indian Fare eggplant, over brown rice. I added spinach leaves and sliced chicken breast.

    S - orange

    S - cut up veggies

    S - tall non fat sugar free latte

    D - veggie tacos - 2 crumbled garden burgers, 3 whole wheat tortillas, spinach leaves, tons of salsa, a little low fat cheese
  • May as well start these...see if I can do it..hehe.

    B-2 scrambled eggs with sauteed mushrooms (in olive oil) and 1pc wheat toast
    S-lowfat yogurt
    L-tuna salad on whole wheat bread (with lowfat mayo and nothing else)
    D-lemon pepper chicken breast and a big ole salad!
    S-anything after dinner would be carrots or green peppers or cucumbers...maybe a yogurt.

    1 hour on the elliptical, bike ride if I can get one in, 50 v-crunches (broken up..hehe) some squats and some other random exercises I've been wanting to start doing everyday!

  • hey everyone! sorry for the late entrance, its been on helluva morning already!! i am about to help some person lose weight by chopping off their head and putting it in an oven!

    breakfast: had to eat at work today! running a bit late, so i had 2 scrambled eggs; bagel toasted with jelly
    no snack: well actually the other half of the bagel cause i didnt eat it all before my first meeting
    lunch: THANKFULLY i had made it last night! turkey/swiss on 12 grain; some baked Lays
    dinner: steamed veggies/rice

    exercise: 2 miles today with weights

    and by the way, last night i didnt end up having veggies/rice but an enLIGHTened smoothie from jamba juice!! the orig size and its only 180 calories and OH SO YUMMY!!
