Today my dad and I went on a shopping trip, trying to find a birthday/mothers day present for my mom. He decided he wanted Chipotle for lunch, and I knew that their burrito's were rediculously bad for you (they're so darn huge) so I was playing it safe and got a salad.

So I ordered my salad and picked 1/2 the chicken off... but I left the black beans and the cheese on... I should have taken off the cheese, but I figured "Hey I'm having a Salad" Right??? WRONG!!

My Salad ended up being 19 points!!! 10 FREAKIN POINTS

So now I have 7 points left for the day... ARGH!

I just recently started WW and when I started I stopped eating my morning glazed twisty doughnut with my son. Well this morning I forgot my fruit so I got a small sugar doughnut thinking, it is smaller and it's gotta be less points, when I got to work I looked it up, and the way I take it is, they were the same amount of points. I should have had the twisty one. so next time, that is what I am doing.

Some of what you think would be good for you isn't, what a wake up call. and speaking of salads I should look up the mcdonalds grilled chicken salad, that is what I think I am going to have tonight, I might not be able to.

That's crazy for a salad! And at least if you'd know beforehand you could have savored every single point!

I feel your pain. I had a bowl of French Onion Soup at a restaurant, only to find out later it had 12 points. Cheese can really add up, especially if it is full fat.

I was very glad to know I can still enjoy my weekly treat of a tall cafe mocha and a glazed donut for 8 points. Only now I get is no-fat, and no whipped cream.

My subway 6in tuna is my treat! I love it loaded for 9pts. The pasta/veggie soup I was ordering was 12 pts.. who woulda known!

Im i've been adding up Boston market points all wrong. One meal is 18pts. I only get 22 a day!

I'm usually pretty aware of points and calories and so forth, but Boston Market nailed me, too. I picked it up for dinner the other night thinking it was one of the less evil of fast foods, and man I was wrong.

The crazy thing? Their mashed potatoes are actually relatively low point. Their veggies? Not so much.

I got the surprize of my life while ordering a ff cream cheese/ bagel.....the bagel itself was like 15 pts. good thing I had the ff cream cheese!!!! bagels are now on the no list.

My goodness, what kind of bagel is that? My fave at Bruggers is "only" 6 pts (the cinnamon sugar), and the yummy cinnamon crunch bagel at Panera is 8.5 pts. Please let me know what kind you had so I don't ever have it!

It is amazing how much some foods are worth in points.
But someone mentioned subway...and subway is my favorite fast food place to go when I want something filling with not so many points. They are great!

Can you guys imagine how many points we were all eating before WW? The little things really do add up!

If you like Taco Bell, go fresco style (no cheese, and a salsa and cheese sauce mix instead). If you have 1 crunchy (beef) taco and 1 soft (beef) taco, fresco style, with less than 1 point of FF sour cream, it only costs 6 or 7 points. Darn tasty too.

I used to think chipotle was healthy too. Then one day I figured out the points for my favorite burrito (flour torilla, chicken, sour cream, cheese, rice, black beans and salsa fresca) and it was 24 points -- my point total for the day at that time! I haven't been back since.

Subway is a great fast food place, if you eat the right think. I can't go in McDonalds without ordering french fries, so I don't even try.

Ugh! I wish I had read this thread before tonight. I was starving and staying with a friend. Anyway, she wanted to go to Boston Market and I thought I made such a good choice with the chopped salad with chicken. SO I sat and ate that while she ate mac and cheese, potatoes, stuffing. Ugh. Now that I got home, I look on their website and the salad is 730 calories AND 52 grams of fat! Uh, my point counter doesn't even go that high! Oh well... maybe I should start carrying my own salad dressing.

I recently discovered that Subway Chicken and Baby Spinach salads are only 3 points (but they're a little small). I skip the dressing.

I also hit Taco Bell. The Ranchero Chicken Soft Taco isn't bad if you leave off the cheese. You still get the flavor but its only 3 points.

Today I am researching 0pt foods. I weighed in today at 176!!! That is VERY BAD, and shows that I have been very careless. I am hanging out with my best friend tonight and I know that we will be drinking, so I am only using 20pts to drink and thats that. I am going to have my shots measured and pre-poured. Florida is less then 2wks away and I am SERIOUS.
