Good Monday Morning!!!

  • Well it is May 1st today! How is everyone doing?! I am feeling happy and confident. I had a good week last week - I hit the 100 oz water per day every day, I lost 2 pounds and generally stayed OP for the whole week. If I can just manage to get the exercise worked in, I would really be on the right track.

I am thinking we need a challenge that runs until June 21, the first day of summer. Any one up to it? Not sure if I have the time to run it, but I know I want to keep up my momentum that I have right now!

I am going to go eat my morning snack, which is lowfat yogurt. Yummy!

  • Good morning

I'm doing very good as well. I have been back on plan and lost all the weight I had put on last week.

Like yourself, I need to keep going with challenges and made a small one week challenge I posted on my own website for my sister and sister in law that I plan to continue every single week. If anyone is interested, let me know, and I can post the challenge here as well. This is a week by week challenge. Very similar to the one we just did but I didn't use any points. We could modify it and we could all contribute our ideas to make the challenge what everybody needs!

    Let me know!
  • I think a new challenge is a good idea! i need something to make me stick to the plan so i can lose some weight before summer starts.. I'm busy with my studies and i need something to make me focus on staying OP to be in better shape for the hols..

    Cheers,
    Em
  • Hi everyone!

Happy Monday and happy May 1st. Another new beginning! And, I need it after my binge weekend. Not good! I am back on boards for strict eating for the next month to see where I can go! I am maintaining but I want to lose another 5-10 pounds! Plus, I just feel better when I eat right!! Mentally!!!!
  • Anita, from what I've heard from a lot of people, losing it is a piece of cake (oops - guess I shouldn't say cake) compared to being able to maintain it. You are doing fantastic! And you look totally hot too -- my husband says so too.

It's a nice sunny warm day in Denver. My Avalanche beat the Dallas Stars to take the series on Sunday, so it's just a good thing all around. Now I plan to watch Edmonton knock off those Red Wings tonight and get ready for round 2.

Well, I think golf is totally boring. Baseball is totally boring. But I have found one thing that is WAY more boring than both of those put together -- watching the NFL draft. My husband had that on quite a bit this weekend and we are talking yawn city!
  • Francine ~ do post the challenge, please. I think it would be a great thing to do. It helps so many stay on track.
