WW recipe for pasta and bean soup

  • I am looking for a WW recipe that I got on a card at a meeting for pasta e fagioli (SP?) soup a year or 2 ago. I have lost the card. It had frozen mixed veggies, white beans, can of tomatoes, pasta. I would like to find it for yummy fall lunches. Anyone have it?

  • I'm not sure if this is the recipe you are talking about but.....


    1(16oz) can Italian-style crushed or whole tomatoes (finely chopped)
    1 (19oz) can kidney or cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
    1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
    3 cups cooked pasta or 3/4 cup dry pasta
    3 cups water

    Place all ingredients in a meduim-sized saucepan.

    Simmer for 10 minutes, if using cooked pasta, or until dry pasta is fully cooked. Add enough water during cooking to just cover the pasta.

  • The recipe makes 4 servings @ 3 points per serving. I don't know if it will be the same or not under the new system with the fiber difference. Usually any thing with beans will have high fiber so you may need to count it as 4 points??????? just a suggestion.
