i've lost about 4 and half pounds but i cant seem to keep out of the "bad food" you know the candy and the fatty foods....
I couldn't handle sweets in moderation. I had to put them on a "no" list for a long time. For me, it is much easier to say no to the first cookie than the second cookie. During my weight loss, I concentrated on eating nutritionally powerful foods. I was so busy trying to eat 10 "super foods" (salmon, broccoli, blueberries, oats, pumpkin/orange pepper/carrots, soy, yogurt, turkey, orange, tea, beans, spinach, tomatoes, walnuts) there just wasn't enough room in my daily calorie limit for junk. If I were going to eat 200 calories of candy, I would have missed a super food!
Changing my focus to what TO eat instead of what NOT to eat, made a big difference for me.
I find after you don't eat it for a while - you stop craving in. I find it easier and easier to say no to stuff all the time.
sometimes, when you havent ate it in a while, you lose your taste for it. The thing is, when you start to eat it again.... you get my thing.
