  • Well, I figured it was about time I posted some progress pictures. The one on the left was taken this past Christmas Eve, and the picture on the right was taken this morning. Yes, I'm wearing the same clothes even though the color looks different. It's kind of neat to see how much my hair grew during that time too.

  • Wow, you look great!!
  • wow WTG you look amazing!
  • You look fabulous! Great job!
  • How come I can't see the pics?
  • Wow! Hot chick in the house! Congratulations and good job!

  • Wow...you look amazing! I agree, we have one hot chick in here!! I'd also like to know your exercise and diet plans that helped you throughout your weight loss!! Please let us know!

    Great work!
  • Thank you all for the encouragement. I find it so inspiring when people post their progress pictures (whether the change is drastic or more subtle) and that has really helped to keep me motivated.

I'm a calorie counter. I just decided that I was going to be hardcore organized, using Word and Excel to keep track of what I was eating, how many calories were in what I ate, and how many calories I burned working out. I don't keep track of carbs, but I'm aware of them and have really cut down on bread.

I'm very fortunate that there's a gym in the building where I work, so it's convenient for me to work out. In the mornings (although I've been slacking with this a bit lately) I work out with weights and a stability ball. Then at lunch and after work, I do cardio (1/2 hour each time) at the gym. On weekends, I just do weights. All together, I work out 17 times a week, which seems like a lot, but it's been working for me. I'm sure this quote has shown up on the board before, but I try to keep it in mind: "No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it."

Anyway, I know it can be tough for us "shorter" girls; I still feel short even though 5'4" is supposedly the height of the average woman. I wish you luck in your own efforts!
  • Girl, you look fab!
  • wow. hotness!

Yes, it is hard for us short ones...I'm 5'2". Ya gain a little weight and you look overweight, even if you're not! LOL. It seems taller girls can stand to gain a few pounds without people really noticing, but not us shorties.

Thanks for posting how you lost the weight! 17 times is a lot, but it obviously worked for you! And you did it in increments, it's not like you did an hour each time you worked out! Thanks again
  • Wow.. 17 times a week. That is hardcore. How much time do you spend each time you work out? You do look great. Id doesnt look like you have 10 more pound TO lose!
  • You look wonderful!! Thank you so much for posting this picture...it's very inspiring. I hope I look this good when I reach 130!!
  • Great Job...are you at your goal. You look wonderful.
