Good evening everyone! Tomorrow I head to Chicago and have yet to start my packing--I'm undecided about what to take and I think part of that is due to TOM and its arrival.
In any case,
Lisa, you hit the nail on the head, yes eat whatever I want because things are going the way I want them to. I'm working on that one. It's been frustrating lately because I've upped the exercise and my eating is just not falling into line as quickly as I'd like. It's time to take action! My friend and I walked today at noon (no strength class today as they're on "spring break") so we got in about 4 miles. Even got some nice hills in! Tonight I can feel my muscles aching but it's a good ache.
Pam: I hope Lauren's surgery goes well tomorrow--I'll keep you both in my thoughts/prayers. I'm not even thinking about shorts--lately I've been more distraught over pants and not finding ones that fit! I can't tell you how many pairs I've tried on the past few weeks--too big in the waist, too small in the thigh, too big in the thigh, too small in the waist....aaaaahhhhh

and it's really playing with my eating/mood/outlook. I have 4# to get back to my "comfort zone" and I'm really trying to stay focused. I can't remember when I first joined the group but it's been quite a while--it's 4 years at least because I know I conversed with Lala about my trip to London and that was 3 years ago!
Debbie: Feel free to join us! We're always looking for fresh faces and new insight on Lifetime ups and downs. We sometimes have "mini challenges" and we report in as to how we're doing. I tend to lean towards the salty/crunchy snacks and get in trouble with them. My biggest temptation are tortilla chips which are a big red light food for me. I'm currently working on getting more exercise in and have even gotten into taking a class on strength training.
Pam, Austingal, Lala: Hi! Hope you're all doing well and that we'll hear from you soon! I'll try and check in from Chicago. Have a great weekend!
