mkjohn. I'm insulin resistant too and I hate it. I usually loose 0.5 lbs a week and my weight-loss buddy losses 3-4lbs.. how do you suppose that makes me feel?

I've been in a 3 month plateau where I did not lose or gain, it was terrible but I stuck to my diet and exercise and finally my body gave in. Its been a year now and I've lost almost 40 lbs.. 0.5+0.5+0.5.... will eventually add up to 40

Watch what you eat, every single bite counts. Try to work out even if it hurts, I had terrible back and foot pains but now they're getting better. I used to not be able to complete a 10 minute walk on the treadmill now I can run!!. Just keep it up, believe and stick to it.
