Hi everyone! I've been lurking off and on for some time now and really think this site has some pretty good tips and friendly banter. Sooooo, I'm hoping that someone will have a suggestion for me on my situation. I have been on WW for 1 year now and have lost 95 lbs. The problem is that since January it seems that my weight loss has stopped. It seems that I have lost the same 5 lbs over and over again. I started walking 30 minutes a day last year and recently increased it to 1 hour a day 3x a week (about 4 miles). When I increased the activity my weight loss stopped. I'm following the Flex plan and rarely use my additional 35 points. I currently am supposed to use 31 pts and usually use them all. I was using Fitday for awhile to see my caloric intake and it hovers around 1300-1500 cal/day. If I don't exercise I see wiight loss but when I do it stops. To me that makes no sense. My leader says I may not be eating enough. I struggle with that concept. A friend told me I should try the Core plan for a couple weeks and then switch back to see if that helps. I am starting to get frustrated a little because I lost weight pretty easily until January. Any ideas, suggestions, etc? Thanks for the help.
if you exercice, eat more!
Hi Wolverine!
First of all, congrats on your weight loss, wow!
I got stuck also a few weeks back. I was doing 45 min of treadmill a day and was not eating my activity points and sometimes not all my flex. My leader suggested increasing my points by 2 a day. I did and I started to lose again. It worked for me. You could try it for a while and see.
Good luck!
Isabelle
I know it sounds strange but you probably aren't eating enough. My leader said that "you have to eat to lose." She also said that people who didn't use their flex points didn't lose as much as people who did. When you're exercising, your metabolism increases and I think it requires more food.
Congrats on your weight loss thus far!
Wolverine: You definitely want to eat your Target and you may want to try eating some of your WPA's. You need to eat to lose--think of your body like your card--without fuel it's not going to burn/go. Congratulations on your success to date!
