It feels so good to be home Anyone doing anything fun this weekend?
For me its cleaning b/c next week is Easter and I won't have time to do EVERYTHING.

Its supposed to rain this morning and be nice in the afternoon so we'll go outside then.

I'm doing okay with my eating (well as of yesterday LOL) How about you ?

I have to clean today.........and get my brows waxed and attend a jewelery party and then an open house today.........I have to clean somemore tomorrow.......

Time of the ........ ........was late.........was almost hoping I was starting menopause........knew I couldn't be pregnant....

Anyhow everyone is starting to move......so I better get the coffee on and get on with my day........have to make a trip to work if you can believe it to get the map to the party which I don't even really have time to attend!

Not much planned here. Thank goodness. The last two days have been so hectic that I didn't even get in here to see you guys! I have been on a food binge the last two days because of some marital issues and I am dreading weigh in on Mon. You know it's kind of sad that I look forward to seeing and talking to my trainer more than my DH, but I digress... I hope everyone is good. I gotta go for now. Lots of cleaning to do and kids to take care of. I'll be back later to check in on ya'll (after things calm down here). I really am glad I have ya'll . TTYL

Hey Heather......it is ok to be excited about your trainer........he is a huge part of this journey that is making you feel so much better on every level......we all take those close to us for granted and some attention from someone else is nice.........as far as I am concerned it is normal.........it also brings to light the fact that we have to make an effort in our relationships to keep them fresh and exciting........after you get home and are all perked up form your exercise "session" have a shower and have some playful fun with hubby, go for a walk, have a tea or a cocktail together and visit......just an idea! I know you said you are having some issues with your husband and I don't mean to minimize those.

good afternoon gang

I've been cleaning all day - so no fun really - but it had to be done and I do feel better when it is neat around here. It is nice to be home and have all the guys around too. They slept in and got their rooms cleaned and are playing a video game together - just chilling. There doesn't seem to be much time for that these days. DH is in and out working on his mowing equipment.

It is really nice outside - even a little dry coolness in in the air which is a huge blessing down here.

Leenie - will your family be gathering at your house on Friday or Sunday? everybody bringing a dish or will you have to do it all? We go to dh's family on Good Friday to eat lunch - usually a fish fry. And then on Sunday after church my family will have a bbq.

Liz - so you are ready for menopause to start huh. Guess it is around the corner for several of us in here. BTW - great advice you posted to Heather.

Hey Heather - I'm sorry the past 2 days have been so hard. Please don't dread weigh in on Monday. Just realize that you had a couple of rough eating days and be prepared for what the scale might show - it is only numbers actually - man that is so much easier for me to say when it's not my numbers and go from there. You have been doing great.

checking in... DD and bf finally broke up again.. this time for good I suspect (yeah!!!!).. she's going thru rough time with that in addition to the chem imbalance brought about by going off her celexa cold turkey 3 months ago... she's been back on for 3 weeks now, and Dr gave her some anti-anxiety meds to help in meantime.... but this bf situation has been brutal on her.... she found out all kinds of things about him & their relationship (including some very hurtful things he's done and said.. and yes, other girls.. even some women).... she's really been beating herself up, but I think we crested the worst yesterday...

I'm so relieved she feels she can talk to me about stuff.. I'm sure she talks more to her friends, but it's nice to know she values my opinion... and i have worked hard this past week to help her rebuild her feelings of self-worth over this... and point out it has NOT been of her making.

Just got home from the gym... I renewed my membership for another year ($$$.. ouch). The gym has been my salvation this past year. I sure haven't gotten there as much as I would like to, but perhaps now things will improve so I can go more.

My walking partner will be phoning any min.... we meet ... she does same job as I do in another school div and it's nice to be able to have an ear from someone who understands the situation.. for both of us! *lol

I am so sorry about your dd and her xbf. I hope she realizes how blessed she is to have a mom like you - especially in times like these. I wish the very best for your dd!!!!! hugs!

Judomom, I hope everything works out with your DD and her break up. When your so young its hard to realize that there are so many fish in the sea and that another will come along much better than the first. Good for you for joining the gym. It can be expensive but look at it like therapy... and your worth it. Actually therapy cost more so your getting away with a bargin LOLOL !!!!! (nice justification huh )

Heather I'm sorry to hear about your struggles. Wish I had the magic words for you but I don't Hang in there hon. Ohhh a trainer, how cool is that!! yes, be excited and don't worry about your weight, the trainer is there to help you, not judge you.

Cathy, we celebrate Easter on Sunday and I'll be doing all the cooking. I'm not going crazy this year The worst part of people coming is cleaning up afterwards. How about you?

Liz, how was the party ? yikes I like jewelery, but cheap jewelery. After I lost the stone in my engagement ring I went to costume jewelery. It made me so sick knowing all that money and memories gone!!! now, if I lose something costume I shrug my shoulders

Today I have to finish folding laundry AND putting it away lol, make some dinners for the week and just enjoy the fresh air.

Hey Judo mom sorry for your dd's pain and hence yours.....good job hanging in there at the gym.

This is a bit more of a sane week coming up....I am off Tues and Wed during the day so I will do some more tidying......and get together with some girlfriends for lunch/coffee.

The jewelery was quite nice......5th avenue.......you can google it........I am buying a pair of earrings today on line. The prices are quite reasonable.
I bought a bangle and a chain yesterday. I love earrings.......wouldn't go out without them....

Went to a house party last night.......it was fun. Lots of friends I haven't seen in a while........ok have to get on with my day........church at 6 pm........palm sunday.........lots of church this week......Thurs, Fri and Sunday. Easter dinner is Sunday at my brothers we all bring something.........I am bringing a veggie dish, wine and a dessert.
