Come in and list your simple staple meals w/pts!

  • I wanted to see what kind of easy meal "staples" people have.
    I've not been in this very long, but do have a few meals that I've come up with that I have often throughout the week. I especially love breakfast foods.


    I love the Eggo NutriGrain whole grain waffles 3
    with fat free cool whip and a cup of strawberries 1/4

    Whole Wheat English muffin 2
    2 servings of egg beaters cooked with butter flavored spray 1/3
    a veggie sausage patty (Morningstar Farms) 1/4

    A great weekend "big" breakfast:

    Four servings of egg beaters 2
    scrambled with tons of mushrooms and fresh spinach 0/2
    three Nutri-grain whole grain pancakes 5/7
    a few sprays of butter spray and SF syrup

  • Some meals I have often throughout the week are:

    Grilled tilapia fish -2pts
    1c Broccoli Stir-fry (using Pam) -0pts
    1 tbsp terriyaki sauce -1pt
    sometimes I'll eat a baked potato with 2 T light sour cream and chives -3pts


    3oz grilled chicken - 3 pts
    1c broccoli and carrots stir-fried with pam - 0 pts
    1/4c Classico four-cheese alfredo sauce - 2pts


    3oz grilled chicken (cut into cubes) - 3pts
    2c fresh baby spinach leaves - 0 pts
    2 tbsp Soy Vay terriyaki sauce - 2pts
    sprinkle with sesame seeds and crispy rice noodles - 0.5pts (if anything at all)


    I love how quick and easy these meals are too!!!
