Ok so if it i a hungry issue, you can used canned pumpkin as a filler, It is low in calories and will give your pup the full feeling. Start out slowly, but if your dog is anything like mine he has an stomach of iron and should be able to handle it.
I don't know what you are feeding and I am not making any assumpitons, again, but swiching to a hight quality dog food, something in a holistic would alo improve some things for you. Same as people, better food better results.
My last suggestion to you would be to provide lots of good things to chew on, marrow bones are a favorite, kongs stuffed with veggies and filled with chicken stock and frozen can do wonder, rope toys soaked in chicken stock and frozen are good. Even though dogs like toys, they like flavor too and this may save a pair of shoes for you at best and surgery to remove something at worse.
