I've skipped meetings for less solid reasons--at least PMS bloat is legitimate! I have skipped simply because I ate more on weigh-in day than usual, so I knew the scale would be up. I am queen of excuses. It's just that I get so down about seeing a gain even if I KNOW it's not a "real" gain (water weight or whatever) because it's just annoying that not EVERYONE there knows that it's not a real gain, I guess. It's frustrating when to have to explain why the scale is up--I always feel like everyone thinks I'm just making up excuses, so instead of mkaing excuses for my weight, I make excuses to not go to the meeting at all
