  • Good Morning Everyone!!!

    Well here I am the early bird and all raring to go with this challenge!! The worse thing is that I weigned in this morning and I am back where I started but AF is here too, so what I weighed won't be accurate for a few days cause I retain ALOT while AF is here visiting!

    How has everyone's weekend been? We have a busy day today and I think I have decided I am going to go to Real Estate School. Anyone else ever been? I love real estate and so I think I am going to venture down that road.

    Ok I am off to get my day started. Hope everyone remembered to turn their clocks forward! Well those who are in DST that is! LOL!

  • Hey Laurie.....good to see ya

    I have STS because I wasn't totally good at the Crab leg and Prime Rib buffet last night......now really who could be with those two foods I did pretty well considering but caved and had 2 glasses of wine.

    So I will try to drink more water today but with the afternoon plans (cocktail party) that will be hard. If not today then I'll drink tons tomorrow and workout!! That's the plan...

    But I am happy with no gain and I hope everyone does well on their WI and challenge start. I'll ck back later and see how everone did.

    Happy Sunday to all. It is good to have some new goals with spring here and summer coming! Good to see so many of the old LL ladies still here. I really have a hard time during the busy school year keeping in touch, but I realize it is something I need to do for me. Thanks for keeping the group together and have a great first day of the challenge!

  • Hi Marsha! Nice to "see" you! Its hard for me to keep up sometimes with the posting, but I just keep coming back.....

    My jeans are fitting pretty bad today. I SERIOUSLY need to get back to exercising!!! But I don't think I will start this week. No since in getting myself all sore before going on a trip for 3 days were I won't be able to continue the exercise anyhow. Next week, it is NO MORE EXCUSES! I need to "Just Do It"!!!

    Water intake is okay so far today, but I do need to step it up a notch if I am going to make 100 oz!

    I'm taking myself and Michelle for a pedicure now and we have to stop by my MIL's house later. Should be a fairly low key day today. It is a nice chance to recharge my battery.

  • Hi Everyone,

    I took Luzivon shopping & went "slightly" overboard. Oh well, she looks really cute in all those spring capris/cargo pants.

    My hip is VERY bad. I can't get another shot until the end of April - I'm sure the additional weight is not helping.

    Donald is getting weaker, choking more, and having more problems remembering words. On top of that, his brother had a heart attack yesterday. I think part of my crazy eating is worry about Donald.

    This week my gf is taking me to Philly to a show & we're staying overnight at a hotel. Donald's cousins are coming to stay here with Donald. This will be the first time I'll be away from Donald (except when he's been in the hospital) for almost 2 years. I truly love him, but I can't wait for this mini-vacation.

    I've been doing a lot of scrapping & work on my courses - I begin teaching one on 4/11 and a new one on 5/30. I'm scrapping a mini-book for my gf of her great-niece's pics & some Easter cards.

    I am VERY happy to have our challenge here. Looking forward to a perfect day (thanks, Laurie - good idea) and a perfect week.

  • Good afternoon ladies.

    This just doesn't make sense. I spent 3 days eating junk food -- Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Friday I had candy for breakfast and lunch and popcorn for dinner. Yesterday I had yogurt and a power bar for breakfast, an apple, cheese and crackers and another power bar for lunch and nachos and candy for dinner. I woke up this morning 3 lbs lighter than Thursday morning and it's TOM. What gives???

    Susan, maybe you need to include more candy and popcorn in your diet?

    Lynn, you need a break - you have been working so hard and worrying can put alot of stress on you that this overnighter will do you good.

    My day has been slow...I have had a cold and don't want to do much, but laundry doesn't go away! Gotta have something clean for tomorrow.
