Wowza

  • I went to a routine appt. with one of my specialists yesterday. The last time I was there was mid-December. I stepped on the scales, and I had a distant, vague memory about that being traumatic last time I was there. I asked the nurse what I weighed last time, and she exclamed that I had lost 9 pounds! What a nice surprise!

I wasn't keeping track, really until just recently. But, now I remember being down that the last time I was at this doctor's office, I was just 2 pounds below my all-time high. (No wonder I blocked it out!)

So, hurray for little, didn't-really-notice them changes that account for about half of that weight. The other half was on-purpose, blood-sweat-and-tears change.
  • Way to go!!!!
  • :)
    Congrats on the weight loss!!
  • Congrats!
  • That's a great feeling. Good for you.
  • Nice! An unexpected bonus!

  • That's wonderful!
  • Way to go! Isn't it nice to have good news at the doctor? I used to dread just thinking about stepping on that scale. It used to up my blood pressure enough that they would have to come and re-test me after the consultation.
  • Great news!
  • Good for you Angi!

Nancy, same thing happens to my BP every single time
  • What a unexpected surprise!! Good for you!!
  • Congrats, Angi!! I'm so glad you're back!

Nancy, there is a name for that! White Coat Syndrome.
  • I love those "good" doctors visits. Congratulations!
  • Angi - that's awesome!
