8 lb. loss in 1 month!

  • Well its been 1 month since I've started counting calories with fitday and
thanks to all of the tips and support from 3fc members I think I am on the right track. If I can keep it up I will be below goal by June! Just in time to put on a pair of shorts and not have to worry about the wiggly jigglies if you know what I mean. I love fitday, it projects the future and tells you what you should be in weight by a certain date. That really is giving me incentive to keep going. I havent started exercising much yet just an occasional walk
or jaunt on the old treadmill, but my goal is to start a fitness routine April 1st. Maybe that will speed things up a bit. I am figuring 3 days a week in April, then up it to 4-5 days a week in May. Also Ive found that zigazagging calories really works and I'll stay with that. Thanks again for all the tips and support! I just love this forum!
  • Hey, great news, Littlegg! Congratulations!
  • Heres to ya!
You too, your numbers are very impressive.
  • Awesome!! Keep up the good work.
  • Great job!!!!! I've been with 3fc & fitday for about 5 weeks now. I've lost 10lbs already by calorie counting. I've found this site to be very informative. And have suggested it to my friends already. I've tried all kinds of diets in the past and tried pretty much every diet pill. But I haven't been able to lose more then 5lbs. But with calorie counting I've lost 10lbs already and I'm jumping for joy!!!!!!! My cal per day are 1300 or less, carbs I think its 150, sodium I try for 1800, protein 33 and fiber 25. I get on my gazelle 5-6 days a week. This week I'm up to 45 min. I do Denise Austins hit the spot Pilates for about 20 min. I've seen my tummy shrinking, and of course my jeans are sagging. Keep up the good work!!
  • Impressive numbers
Wow light house thats great and I must say you really are moveing with the exercize. The calorie counting does work, my worst time is after I come home from working a 3-11 shift though. I am hungry tired and usually
have had a stressful night of work. Thats when I get the munchies. Tonight I tried the peanuts for munching but wow the calories!!! I just hope I can keep up the 2 lb/week. I cant actually say my clothes are loose yet but they do fit and I havent had to breath in to put on my jeans...thats a plus.
I am thinking of starting with the treadmill and some yoga to help reduce stress, I ehar it burns alot of calories.
  • That's so awesome! It's always best to lose at a nice steady healthy pace.
  • Work It
    KEEP IT UP.... Fight everyday
