I agree with purplepansy. Journal journal journal! I would say that this was one of the most important things I did during my recovery. It was so great to look back on it and see how far I've come. I know it sounds cheesy, but it really does work.
Another thing that worked was avoiding my trigger foods at all costs initially. (I know, easier said than done) and also having a daily food plan that i would carry with me in my purse so that I always knew what I was going to eat.
Oh, and one more!

Getting rid of my all or nothing mentality and learning to love my self has really improved the way I feel about my self.
