Question about points and calories

  • I know I'm supposed to be getting around 1400 calories a day and not drop below 1200 a day, well that being said.... I started WW last Thursday and I was figuring up the amount of calories I've had each day and it's been about 1000 every day and I have been using all of my points and I'm eating very healthy foods. Is this bad? Should I try and eat fattier foods? I'm really confused right now....

  • This what W/W puts out as an average calories to points:

    20 points = 1150 calories
    22 points = 1250 calories
    24 points = 1350 calories
    26 points = 1450 calories
    28 points = 1550 calories
    30 points = 1650 calories
    32 points = 1750 calories
    34 points = 1850 calories
    35 points = 1900 calories (Weekly Points Allowance)
    36 points = 2050 calories

    Remember this is not always true but a good guide and DOES NOT include the 200-250 calories a day W/W built into the program for free veggies.

    if you aren't getting something close to that you need to evaluate what you are using?

    Are you following the 8 Great Health Guidelines because between your dairy and oils it should be 6-8 points a day. How about looking at the Points Pies?
