  • We seem to have lost a bunch of people.......PLEASE COME BACK!!!! We miss all of you.

It is March and my gym instructors said people will drop out by March and I guess they were right.

I can't boast any weight loss myself but I do continue trying. I know also that a lot of our group are doing different diets now or incorporating 2 or 3 diets together and that is OK.

This has turned out to be a group of friends and I for one hate to lose touch with you, SO COME ON BACK. You don't have to be on any special diet or not even dieting at all.....WE MISS YA!!!!

Even on a challenge you can still join in if you just drink the water, do some walking, eat every 3 hrs., etc. Otherwise just fill us in on your day.

Don't make us get out the whip and start e-mailing all of you again , we need each other and we will lose these unwanted pounds.

  • Hi i am here. 3rd day on plan and so far going good. i am still looking for book. so anxious to get it. good luck to all. LaDean
  • I weighed in at 141 thius morning and had three egg mcmuffins for breakfast- I skipped dinner last night and won't be able to eat until later tonight so I thought that would be kind of OK. OK, I can rationalize anything... hope everyone else is doing well!
  • Hi there - I'm here, been busy and stagnating (as usual) - so not much to report. I spent all day in Charlotte yesterday on training, and then one kind of 'slips into' attending lunch + dinner...hehe.. what to do.
challenges don't seem to do much for me ... but I just keep trying.
I am going to try some new stuff that we just brought out, supposed to have an effect on the adrenals - and what pads the midrif..... will let you know the outcome if anybody is interested .. spoke with a friend yesterday, who had lost 5 lbs by using it - and diminishing the stress that add to the 'spare tire'..... we'll see...
    Keep trucking....
  • I've been nursing a cold, and the baby has an ear infection, my husband is out of town and my teenage daughter decides to be rebelious this past weekend
I'm down weight wise but that is because of the cold and stress makes me lose my appetite

  • Hi, I am still around. I have been really busy this weekend so I couldn't post. I don't have many new things to report but I am still OP for the most part. I cheat now and then but always get back. I think that is why I am mostly maintaining for now. I would love to loose another 10 pounds though. I am continuously working on it! I am 3 pounds from my original goal so I guess I feel I have made a lot of progress!

I will keep checking in but I don't always have new things to report!
  • What's OP..
Yes, you should be proud of yourself Anita...you have done well...
    Lou
  • I believe OP is for on program...at least that is what I have decided
  • Way to go Anita! You are so close to your final goal! Maintaining your weight is just as difficult as losing it, so you're doing great!

When I think about it, I know I will always play with the last 5 or 6 pounds once I reach my goal! Gain it, Lose it! With Christmas, parties, so on... it's bound to happen! We're only human! And we love to eat!

So keep up the great work, and lose those last few pounds! You can do it! We can all do it!
  • Now Anita you know you need to be here with us to get rid of those last few pounds and to let us all celebrate with you when you reach your goal

I am so proud of you as I have been on this journey with you from the start and look at you .......how wondeful. Now me on the other hand just keeps playing around with 3 lbs this last month. I'll get it I promise and you need to be here to cheer me on when I do!!!!!

Your soooo close, bet you lose it in the next couple weeks!!!!

    Hugs, Phyllis
  • Thanks Ladies!

    OP is for "on plan".

I will keep coming here for more support! I love reading all your posts!

    HUGS!!!
  • Hi all...I am back and OP once again...I am committed once again...for those of you who do not know I have been really struggling the past few weeks...FIL starts home hospice this week...really deteriorating quickly...I will be staying overnight toward the end to give MIL support since hospice does not stay 24/7 and he wants to die at home...(I am a nurse). My good friend arrived from out of town last week (in-operable anaplastic astrocytoma grade III...aka terminal brain tumor..she is 40 with 2yo and 11yo)...so trying to be supportive as well....Really trying to take care of my family and myself....as many of you do not know I also have a tendency to self medicate the pain and stress with a glass or two of wine...which over the past few months has become 3 or 5(not good for the weight loss effort or for me)....My father is a raging alcoholic and I do not want to go down that slippery slope...so I have quit drinking completely and am experincing a flood of emotions...Thank God for therapy! It is not easy but I am doing well...Just tired! Family is supportive too...Don't mean to give you all the "poor me's" just wanted to fill you in on my challenges in case I seem sort of "schizophrenic " in the days to come...LOL! Thanks in advance for your non-judgemental support as always...Love, Allie
  • Well, I did not get on the computer all weekend. Let me tell you about my weekend.

I woke up Saturday morning to find someone had egged my car overnight. What a waste of protein! They didn't touch my husband's or our friend's that were parked next to mine. We figure it was the fish shaped magnet that says "God Bless our Troops" on the back of my car. Either that, or it was Woodstock and who could dislike Snoopy & Woodstock? So DH had to go wash my car.

Then, we've had a friend with us since Friday night who spent the weekend hogging the computer playing poker and blackjack. He is one of those people who if he lived back in the days long ago would be a traveling salesman selling snake oil. He constantly changes careers always believing the next big deal is right around the corner. He's so far in debt it's not funny. He now has no place to live. He and this new partner he hooked up and now are going to travel around the country in a motor home and sell security systems. He has grandiose plans of making $10K a month. But in the meantime, he's crashed on my couch.

So, I didn't join you this weekend. But I'm still on track. I lost 1.5 lbs this week and 1" so far each off hips and waist.
  • Allie - I just have to say I really admire that you have the courage to face your "demons" head on... who could ever judge you for that?!

    Hang in there...

SUsan - you crack me up...

Ladies - we are all doing great - let's just keep on keeping on...
  • Allie, we love you!
