Hey 30 pounds is great! I've hit 40 if you go from my highest weight until now. If you only go by my December weight, I'm down 27.5. Almost 30. I can't wait until I reach 232, then I will be back down to my 50 pounds off mark that I hit after starting Atkins in 2000.

But it is going to take some time. I slipped a bit recently and need to get strict with myself again and soon.

But I am proud of YOU! 30 pounds is wonderfuL! What are you going to do for an encore? Just kidding. 30 is great. I've been setting baby step goals and aiming for them. 3 or 4 pounds at a time. Scale was up a bit today, but it will be down soon. I'm craving all kinds of things I shouldn't have, but want today. I guess that is because of my little slips lately. If I'm strict with myself and stay on Atkins, I don't get weak and have to deal with cravings like this. It is only when I mess up that I'm tempted by further mess ups.

I had some wine tonight and it has made me sleepy. Need my bed.

Anyway congratulations we are all proud of you here!

WAHOO!!! 30 Pounds feels great doesn't it. I'm just over half way to goal also. Congratulations and hope the next half goes just as well for you.

I am almost at the halfway mark! But I still have a long way to go...

This is my very first reply...halfway there is an awesome feeling, I'm so proud of you for doing it. I'm finding that despite increasing my efforts, my weight loss is slowing down, which is frustrating but not entirely suprising. Just gotta keep on going. Getting closer every week.
