Thursday menu, 3/9/06

  • Alrighty. Time to get serious and back on track!

    Breakfast: oatmeal, skim milk, banana
    Lunch: baked potato with FF green onion dip, FF cheddar
    Dinner: grilled chicken, salad with olive oil-balsamic vinegar dressing, milk

    Snacks on hand for emergency use only: popcorn, deviled egg, unsweetened applesauce
  • B: Oatmeal with blueberries and ff milk
    L: Salad with FF dressing
    S: apples sauce and popcorn
    D: Smoothie with Strawberries and Bananas

    OK, my menu isn't really core today, but I need to post!!

    b: donuts (3 pts)
    l: smartones pepperoni pizza (6 pts) and salad (1 pt)
    s: orange (1 pt); pudding cup (2 pts)

    I just put points in there for good measure.
  • Breakfast: Oatmeal made with skim, 2 splenda, ½ cup homemade chunky applesauce (splenda) and black coffee

    Lunch: Healthy Choice Split pea with ham soup

    Snack: FF cottage cheese with pineapple

    Dinner: Core Sirloin chili with pinto beans; Core cornbread

    1 - oatmeal and berries and milk
    2 - chickpea soup and millet/vegetable bowl with peanut sauce (1)
    3 -cottage cheese and fruit
    4 - cabbage rolls and oven roast potatoes with asparagus
    5 - something light and milky
    6 - popcorn if hungry

  • Vickie , I got the oatmeal core cookie recipe from here. It's under desserts. They're okay - kind of rubbery I think - but have a good flavor.

    B: shredded wheat biscuits - 2 is a serving, but I'm eating 3; w/banana and skim milk; coffee with cream (pts) and splenda

    Snack: nectarine

    Lunch: Salad with Just 2 good dressing (pts), popcorn

    Dinner - not sure yet, but definitely a core meal!

    Snack: sf/ff pudding.

    Got on the scale this morning and am down 7 pounds!!

  • Oh man you guys my day started good but ended bad......read on
    Breakfast: Orange, coffee with splenda

    It was a points lunch today
    Lunch: 6inch subway turkey breast with ff honey mustard, sm bag of wows chips

    Snack: bag of 94% ff popcorn

    Heres the bad part because i didnt feel like cooking tonight
    Dinner:Large garden salad with creamy italian dressing (I dipped)
    3 pieces (from a med size) pizza with bacon, pep, ham, onion & sausage on it.

    Now it get worse

    Snack 4 chips ahoy cookies with a glass of milk.....ugh
    now i am sitting here chugging my water.....the shame.. the shame

    So heres my motto for tomorrow
    Don't look back..Your not going that way!!!
