My exercise challenge

  • I'm getting a bit jaded and fed up, so I have a new challenge.

    This coming week, let's pick something to do just to enjoy it, not coz it's healthy, not coz it'll help you lose weight, but because you like it and enjoy it and it's fun. It could be a new walking route, a new class, or something that you do regularly that you just love.

    For me it was this morning's swim. I loved the feeling of the water, the peacefulness, and the feeling of well being it gave me.
  • Ooooh I have a day off on Saturday since instructor is at home with his new baby and DF is out doing police things... What could I do?

    I might go for a run!
  • I'll ask dh to orient me to the bowflex (again!). My excuse for avoiding it like the plague is that I can't remember how to set it up to do the exercises which I can't remember what they are either. Maybe I'll take notes this time....
  • You just reminded me to pack my swimsuit and goggles:
    I'm going home for spring break, and that means I can go swimming! I love it, but the pool hours at my gym don't work with my class schedule, so I never get to go!
    It's so relaxing to get in the pool and just go!
