    I guess my nutritionist is from this particular school of thought. I think one main consideration missing from a lot of studies, though -- everyone's body is different. If it works for me to stay away from supposedly "high-glycemic" foods, then I should have at it, right?
  • I agree with you - everyone is different. I lost 55 pounds on a low - cal/high GI diet and it was miserable. I was tired a lot, I was hungry often, it just didn't seem like something that was long term. Doing the low GI thing has made me feel better consistently - I have more energy and I am not starving all the time!! I don't get those tired swings after I haven't eaten for a while.
