Self Searching Question #1

  • I thought this might help us to find ourselves. I'm not a shrink by any means so it's just a fun exercise for those who want to 'play'.

    5-Responsible and dependable

    I had to make myself do this and think really hard for a long time. It is sad but I think this is part of the reason I am having such a struggle with my weight loss efforts. I guess I really don't love myself very much.

  • These always make me have to stop and think positive

    2. Finally comfortable in my own skin
    3. Good sense of humour...warped tho it is
    4. Always willing to try new things, not afraid of change or challenges

  • We do this daily on another site I belong to, but we call it I deserve it because:

    I love my hands - they are one skinny part of me!

    I love my ability to love my husband as he deserves to be loved

    I love my sense of humor and that I can usually come up with a good comeback in a hurry

    I'm loyal and dependable and don't get flustered in a crisis

    I'm always up for a challenge

  • FIVE THING I LOVE ABOUT MYSELF:

    1. I try to tell the people I come across in my daily life positive things. If I like someone's hair, I tell them. If I appreciate someone's help, I tell them, etc. I don't want things to be left 'unsaid'. It's kind of a mission of mine. How many times have you told the bagboy/girl how much you truely appreciate their help with your bags?

    2. I really LIKE to interact with people and it shows (I have several clients' offices that I work at weekly and I'm always the confidant for everyone - the safe person to talk things over with)

    3. I LOVE the relationship that I have with my 3 children. We laugh, cry and analyze everything together.

    4. I love my 'inner strength'. I hadn't realized what a survivor I really am until I was briefly telling someone my life story. I wasn't dwelling on any of it but they were like 'WOW'.

    5. I love my hair! Its always been my 'thing'.

    Hmmm, this was kinda hard. I do think we need to do this kind of stuff more often. Makes you think and also strive to do and be the things you want to be.

    1. I like that I am a good mother (now)
    2. I like that my collar bone prominitely shows
    3. I like that I am empathetic to my patients
    4. I like that I am a sensitive soul
    5. I like the new me that I am becoming

  • This is harder than I thought it would be.

    1) I like that am finally losing weight and not putting it off.

    2) I like this place for support and accountability. I don't feel alone in this any more. And I don't talk my families ear off about it.
