Minor increase in calories = weight loss for me!

  • I'd been wondering what I was doing wrong. I made some changes, decreasing sodium, increasing veggies and lean meats and exercizing more, but nothing was working very well!

    January 24th, I weighed 175. By about 12/12 I was down to 172, which was fantastic. But for more than 10 days, I plateau'd and began to get discouraged. Then suddenly I GAINED 3 pounds! I decided to try some different changes. Less vigorous exercising, and I increased my calories by about 200 and suddenly the weight has dropped off. This morning I weighed in at 170.9! That's the lowest weight I've seen in about a year, so I am VERY excited.

    This body... it's an odd thing. Very picky sometimes, it makes it hard to figure out how exactly to make it do what you want it to do. I think I'm figuring it out, little by little. Anywho, I just wanted to share my little victory You all have been a great help in all that I've done so far.
