New to WW and 3FC

  • Hi! I just joined WW tonight and i'm pretty excited. I went all around the house and put point values on all my food with the Point Finder. I felt like such a pro . One of my biggest problems is i'm never home. It's always school, barn, tennis, work or band, let's not even get into time to chill with friends. So I always ebd up catching wednys or Mcd's on my way home because my parents sometimes forget to save me whatever they had for dinner. Another thing is I tend to start things then leave the half done because I get kinda bored But hopefully with WW and their meetings I'l stay on track. My goal is to lose 30lbs in 10 weeks. I know this is not considered the best but I'm a extremely active fat chick I ride a horse everyday and clean 2 stalls every other day. Plus, I have a gym and we are in th weight room 3 time a week.
I'm also incorporating the "Wendi Plan" into my points. If anyone wants to track togather I have an AIM address so just msg me
  • Hey sweetie! God, you sound like me.....just with all the activity! Welcome! 3FC rocks! You'll love it here, I promise. How old are you? I love it when there are teens like me on the board. I wish I had joined WW when I was in my lower teens (I'm 19 now). You are so lucky to have all those things available to you especially the horses! Here's a tip: get in the habit of carrying some sandwiches, fruit, and/or other healthy snacks with you everywhere. Welcome again! Hope to talk to you soon!
  • Hey, I'm 16 I already take my lunch to school to save money (<--nerd) and most of the time I take little things like cracker, apples and carrots to the barn with me but with my horses giving me puppy eyes while i'm munching on them ...well let's just say they get more then I do lol.But My mom is helping me out a lot so hopefully I'll meet my goal before I go to Australia. I mean I need to look decent for all those aussies, talk about yummy
  • Australia?! you are so lucky! And you are super lucky to have your mama helping you out. I'm trying to lose 50 lbs by my birthday in July for one of my friend's wedding in Cali. Also, I'm trying to volunteer in Russia in August. LOL about the horses. You should know better. If you can't say no to them (and I seriously doubt anyone can LOL) I suggest you double up. Half for you and half for the horses.
  • It's so hard to say no. But they're are sneaky little beasts. I put my coat on Amaras stall while I was doing it and Lo is right next to her and I go to dump the wheel barrel, come back and my coats on the floor and Lo was snuffling around and eating the carrots I stashed in there for the way home. I'll try to get some pics of them up. They Inspire me to lose weight.
  • LOL I would love to see some pics! I don't have any horses but there are alot of people in my neighborhood who do. When I used walk to school, I'd always stop at the largest spread in my neighborhood and talk to the horses. They would come right up to me and I would pet them. Just start my day off right.
  • I just posted one of Amara and I'm looking for one of Lo but All I have is prints for some reason and I swear I had some on this computer. When I go to the barn Wed I'll take some of Lo and some new ones of Amara
