How many points for taco meat using 93% lean beef?

    I'm making beef tacos tonight using 93% lean beef. I am trying desperately to find out how many points is in 1 cup of beef (with taco seasoning). Does anyone happen to know? Thank you, thank you for any help!!!

    According to the WW Complete Food Companion book...

    Ground Beef -
    1/2 cup (2 oz) cooked 90% lean/10% fat = 3 points
    1/2 cup (2 oz) cooked 95% lean/5% fat = 2 points

    Watch that the taco seasoning might have fat in it too... Check the label.

    Your best bet is to weigh it instead of measuring it with a cup. Remember that in volume 1 cup is not 8 oz.
