Hi, I'm new to this forum. The site seems to be full of good information and support for those of us working towards weight loss.
I'm 35 and from Canada. I've just recently made the decision to lose weight. My first goal is to lose about 50 lbs within about a year. If I'm successful, I'll aim for losing an additional 50 lbs the following year. I don't know if this is a reasonable goal, but I certainly hope so.
I'm not sure if I want or need a buddy because I don't really know what I can do for a buddy or what she could do for me. Have others found having a buddy helpful? If so, in what way were they helpful?

So my buddy experience hasn't worked very as far as actual weight loss goes lol But I met some really nice people in the process.
But I will gladly offer support and occasional kicks in the butt
