Wave 1 Snacks??

  • I see that one day one that I am allowed to have 11 almonds.

    My question is this: when it says that there are certain vegetables that are unlimited does that mean that I can snack on these as much as I need??

    (I want to follow this plan down to a tee.)

  • you can snack on Tier 1 veggies as much as you need, maybe w/ 2 tbsp. hummus or peanut butter to add some protein to fill you up more. Snacking is more to maintain your blood sugar than to continue eating, so as soon as you feel satisfied, stop eating (even though they are just veggies). Eventually, you'll find that you don't need to snack as much as you used to because your meals will be filling you up!

    Of course if you exercise, you might want to have a couple more snacks that have more substance. Do you have the book? The book has a lot of info about this....I was really confused and I just bought it today and it's very informative!
  • THANKS, I have had the book, but did not have the food until today. I also have all my vegetables cleaned and in baggies.
