Consider me challenged!
The past month or so, my weight has hovered. I wouldn't call it plateauing, because my eating and exercise habits were slightly lax. I'm due for a big can of buckle-down.
I'm reasonably certain that I lost weight this week. I know I've certainly kept up on my water intake, and that almost ensures a loss.
I have a NSV! I went to Avenue clothing store to purchase a pair of jeans. I knew I was no longer a 24, and my 22s were loose as well, so I figured I'd get 20s. I tried on 20 talls and they were still pretty roomy. 18 talls fit! I ended up wanting to purchase stretch jeans, so I tried on 18 talls in stretch. I was able to go down one more size, to a 16 tall! I'm sure the stretch denim is what allowed the smaller size (I have fairly thin legs but a bit of a gut, so the limitation is on the waist). And the jeans weren't painted on, either?? I came home and still was suspicious, so I tried on some old clothes and 20s fit perfectly.
Long story short, I'm down from 24 to 20, but I own a pair of 16s that fit comfortably. **** yeah! That deserves a carrot:
