Hi There, I am new to 3fc. I am 38 and have always had to watch what I eat and make sure I exercise. I have a under active thyroid and seems no matter how healthy I eat or how hard I workout(6 days a week), I only lose a pound here and there. Dr. says it's genetics. I will continue to eat healthy and workout, but would love to have someone to talk to who is also in same boat. I have two kids ages 14 and 11. Married to a wonderful man for 15 years and live in WI.
You sound just like me other than your kids are alot older. Dieting does not seem to help that much but this time around I am cutting carbs and calories. I guess that just leaves water LOL. I have been eating very healthy for the last year and maintained my weight but recently started to gain. I am tired of being fat and tired this will be my best shot this time around.
