The object of this thread is to STOP THE INSANITY! of doing the same thing week in and week out to lose weight, expecting different results, and not getting them! We invite you to challenge yourself to establish a new weight loss ACTION each week and repeat it for 7 days straight. Choose whatever inspires you and will make a difference in your weight loss goal - a certain amount of water intake each day, no sweets, a certain amount or kind of exercise a day, etc.
If you don't master the action - take it on another week. Once you have mastered the action, continue that challenge but if you are not losing weight (or inches) STOP THE INSANITY! and up the anty on that goal or take on another. We will weigh in and declare our challenge(s) for the week each Monday. I will award kudos for each day you report success and at the end of the week for total pounds lost.
We will support each other by staying focussed on our successes and/or challenges of the day and week and keep our personal stories to a minimum.
We have been on a Valentine's Day challenge - This week we will see how much we lost!

All that we have is right now.
Yesterday is gone, Tomorrow is not promised, and Someday is not a day of the week

134 is closer to 132 than 138! You are doing so well and you are so close. Hang in there.
, ONLY 3 pounds? What kind of ungrateful wretch are you? Only three pounds my a**. Ha!
My boyfriend's mother makes this fruit crumble thing, which this time ended up very sweet because of the fruit she used (berries). I had some on the weekend, and it was way too sweet for me (just in taste, not talking about calories). Yesterday evening the whole family was having it again, and I was wondering if I'd get offered some. Nobody would have minded if I just grabbed some, but I didn't want to do that because of my challenge, especially since it was after 8 pm. But I was considering eating if someone offered a portion. To place the blame on someone's ivitation, I guess, bad me!
Nobody did - probably because I had a bit of a go at Steve about the fact that I decide whether this is sweets or not, no matter what's inside and how many calories it has. I was tempted to have some anyhow, but... I didn't!!!
and a
for your pound down!
we've been missing your sunshine. Glad to know everything is alright. Looking forward to having you back with us soon.
I had forgotten about them. I left them in the bag and didn't even bother see what I ordered. Then my girlfriend asked me if she could taste the new shortbread cookies.
I opened a package and had two with her. Then I closed up the box and put them back in the bag. I think I am going to take one box home to DH and give to my VP to serve at the Toastmasters meeting next week so I won't be tempted anymore! I won't be there because I am going to Houston with DD to see my family
