OK, ok......when I first started this WOE, I made a HUGE mistake & ate some sugar free chocolate. This resulted in me being super gassy & very deadly. (I even got sent home from work - yes I was THAT bad!)
So today I'm at the mall & I go into a coffee shop & see that they have a sugar free mocha. Assuming it was made out of those yummy syrups I had one. THAT WAS A MISTAKE!!! My stomach was VIOLENTLY cramping up....df & I were in the middle of grocery shopping when it hit me.....I had tears down my eyes. My entire torso hurt (and I didn't smell pretty either!) DF is coughing /gagging in the car on the way home. When we do get home I fall on the bed....coat & shoes still on. I was in some serious pain! DF is lighting candles....
Has anyone had this problems with coffee? What questions do I need to ask or what ingrediant(s) to I need to avoid so I don't repeat this again.


Sounds like your system is verrrry sensitive to sugar alcohols... I've had that happen to me only once but I had ALOT of SF chocolate that caused it.. You might want to go back to that coffee shop and ask to see what is in that syrup or what they used to make it SF.. But in general

Anyway, I noticed about an hour after eating the bar my stomach was cramping a bit and I had gas (sorry). This evening, after a wonderful dinner out of sirloin and double portion of veggies...well lets just say I barely made it home! I wonder if there was sugar alcohols in that bar? Has anyone ever had a reaction to the bars?

Kraft obviously took some license with the food. In addition, meal replacement bars won't really fill you up or keep you full...and you'll find yourself eating more later on, IMHO. Try to keep some food with you that will help. In a pinch, in P2, try going to Wendy's and get the chili and a side salad. That'll fill you up and keep you full. Okay?
