Because the weight you've already lost should still be an incentive to continue eating healthy. It's not worth it to sabotage yourself because you're stalled and put back on what's already gone
Like me, for example, I've been stuck at 141 for ages. However, just because my weight isn't moving anymore doesn't mean I'm giving up my new "lifestyle" (I don't "diet" anymore) to put back on everything I just lost. I just keep reminding myself that I'd rather be 141 pounds the rest of my life than 220.
