It's a Brand New Week

  • Hi everyone, Happy Sunday!

It's raining here in upsate NY, but I wnet out and walked anyway. I went to the mall yesterday and hit the bargin bin of Cds, (you know, $1.99). Like Forest Gump wound say..."you never know what you're going to get." I like to walk to music so I picked out stuff that might be good for walking to. Well, I lucked out on one...its a recording of a Paul McCartny at a concert with lots of his favorides and most of them were at just the righ pace for walking and slow jogging. I'm home a little damp, but feeling great.

I was more motivated this past week and put all of my foods and exercise into fitday. Hoefully it will pay off at tomorrow's weigh-in! Only a couple of weeks until the end of our challaenge.!!

    Lets go, girls!!

  • New Week....................
Hi ya Lyn The board has been very quiet lately.. guess we will have to shake it up a bit Sounds like you had a good week.... I am doing ok.. not great, but ok.... I am trying to work on "positive" changes" Mine has to be writing down food and definitely getting on the exercise... I did walk our fair village yesterday but the rain has kinda held me back today.. Guess I should go around the block atleast once The family has all had the flu or colds or whatever...... so far I have been spared.... hopefully that trend will continue... look at ***********, its a great site...Everyone have a great Sunday..... see you at the weigh in ...............Barb
  • Hello,
I'm always running behind these days! When I weighed in on Thursday I stayed the same. I thought that was ok for a no exercise week.

I'm feeling somewhat better but still coughing and my chest feels like it rattles when I breathe. I think I need to call the doctor again. I plan on doing that tomorrow. I don't have time to be sick! (who does?!).

I got up this morning and did my Power Walk-Away-The Pounds DVD. It felt good to work out. My body was ready to move.

I have been writing down my food and I know it's time to see how much I'm consuming number wise. I like to log my food in fitday, but I don't have time to do that. A friend suggested that I use the Point System and gave me her book and this slide thing that helps you figure points. So I'm going to do that for the month of February (and my February is starting tomorrow-- a few days early). I know a lot of you use the point system so suggestions are welcome here.
